The Grant wrestling community is growing rapidly--this season we plan on doubling our program's participation numbers from last year. In an effort to spread the enthusiasm of wrestling we have begun major outreach to elementary schools and middle schools in our area to encourage more youth participation. Our high schoolers worked hard over the summer attending camps, and started pre-season practices in September in an effort to make Grant the premier high school wrestling team in the city. These are exciting times for Grant Generals Wrestling.

You can help us continue to grow and prosper with the generosity of a monetary donation. Our program (which includes youth, middle school, and both high school men's and women's teams) will continue to get bigger and better, but we cannot do it without funds. This upcoming season I would like our team to travel to an out-of-state tournament so they can compete against the best kids on the west coast. I would like to provide transportation for our athletes to attend summer camps in June. I would like to purchase and distribute more team gear, i.e. shoes, socks, sweats, to members of our teams. And, my biggest goal is to raise enough money to purchase a new wrestling mat for the program. We currently have one mat, and with our numbers rising it is difficult to fit all our athletes in such a small space. With a second mat we will have more space and every athlete in our program will have a much better experience. 

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, so all donations are tax deductible.

As a way to raise funds, the wrestling team at Grant High School is asking for donations from local businesses. The first businesses to meet the donation tiers will have their business names and/or logos displayed on a large banner in the Grant Gymnasium. Thousands of spectators will see your business name and logo at every home event. And, you will be supporting local youth wrestlers. 

Each weight class will have a designated spot for a sponsor to have their name on display. To have your name in a varsity weight class you need to donate $500. To sponsor a junior varsity weight class you need to donate $250.
